• Voted to fund additional police officers every year to help improve the safety of residents.
  • Voted to increase pay for police officers to better retain current officers and recruit new officers.
  • Voted to fund the Public Safety Building, Station 64, in Daybreak. Provides for quicker emergency services to the West side of our City, both police and fire.
  • Successfully lobbied the State Legislature, as President of the Western Growth Coalition and a member of the Legislative Policy Committee, to provide a historic investment in transportation infrastructure for the Southwest area of Salt Lake County.
  • Successfully negotiated the “buffer” park surrounding Sunstone Subdivision.
  • Successfully negotiated the funding, timing of entitlement, and construction of Highland Park in Daybreak.
  • Successfully negotiated the unique “Park Authority” that governs the new Bingham Creek Park.
  • Helped save Glenmoor Golf Course.
  • Helped save Mulligans Golf and Games.
  • Ensured funding was in place to extend South Jordan Parkway and Lake Avenue to Mountain View Corridor.
  • Opened a new “All Abilities” park in Riverfront Park.
  • Helped residents of North Shore, in Daybreak, establish a safe walking route for children attending Daybreak Elementary, including a Hawk Crosswalk Signal.
  • Helped residents, staff and concerned parents of AAI Students establish a safe walking route for children attending AAI.
  • Successfully negotiated the Trax Alignment so that when it extends further South out of our City, it will not border Early Light Academy on two sides.
  • Successfully negotiated the underpasses on Bangerter Highway at 11400 South and 10400 South.
